A letter from Chester
Hi! I'm Chester T. Chipmunk, the President of Chester's Investor Club® at First Federal Bank. I hope you join my club - it's the coolest thing around! It's easy to join - just open a Chester's Investor Account at any First Federal office, and you're a member.
I'll even give you a free gift when you join. If you're under 3, you'll get a free Chester piggybank, so mom & dad can start saving money for you. Older kids will get a fun activity book - "Saving Money is Smart" or "My Savings Account" - to help you learn about saving money and banking.
Once you start saving, you'll receive one Acorn for every $10 that you deposit into your account. Then you can trade your Acorns for great prizes at any First Federal location. Check out the Acorn Guide to see pictures of the neat prizes. You can also download the Acorn Guide (PDF) so you can keep track of how many acorns you've saved.
Along with saving lots of money and earning interest, you get to do fun things too, like attend member's only parties and meet me at fun events throughout the year, like the parade and festivals. You'll also get mail from me, including birthday cards and the Chipmunk Chatter newsletter, so check your mailbox.
I’m so proud that First Federal is a participant in the Teach Children to Save program from the American Bankers Association (ABA) Education Foundation! In 2011, we taught financial education to over 1,110 students in 50 second-grade classes at 11 schools in North and Northwest Arkansas.
We are also participating in the Race to Save Campaign, with the goal for banks across the country to open 15,000 savings accounts for children during 2011. Open your Chester's Investor Account and help us reach that goal!
If you ever want to ask me a question about money, or just want to say hello, feel free to e-mail me at chester@ffbh.com. I love hearing from my friends!
Save your money!
